About The Business Analogy Blog
Analogies and metaphors are used very often in business settings. Yet, the subject is generally not well-covered any where; perhaps because the use of analogies and metaphors are so common. My belief is that the very common nature allows analogies to be a most powerful business tool.
In this blog, I shall try to review and comment on how analogies are used to generate business ideas that result in innovative products and processes. The comments would include some original ideas but mostly they will be about business analogies reported in news articles, magazines, journals, papers, and conferences. My hope is that by citing actual examples of the use of analogies and metaphors, I can help readers grasp how important, but also how easy, it is to apply analogies to business problems.
